We started by generating a 3D model using Tripo 3D, an AI-powered object generator, and then exported it as a GLB file to integrate with a Next.js project. From there, we used the Codex App's built-in skill creator to set up custom 3D animation workflows, something most AI agents don't offer out of the box. We explored the OpenAI Codex multi-agent feature to break the build into parallel subtasks across separate worktrees, which significantly sped up development compared to running a single AI coding agent on everything. We also implemented scroll-triggered animations using GSAP and swapped flat components for Aceternity UI elements with built-in micro-interactions like tilt-on-hover effects. To finish, we used a post-processing library with React Three Fiber for subtle lighting and glow effects on the 3D model. This video covers real AI developer tools and workflows, not just demos.
