Rio Grande Southern 20 Steam Locomotive

The Rio Grande Southern was a narrow gauge railroad in Southwestern Colorado that once connected towns along the western face of the San Juan Mountains between Durango and Ridgeway. Today, a few pieces of rail equipment survive from this storied rail line, including the well know steam locomotive RGS number 20. In this video, we'll briefly discuss the history of the 20 and then see it in action pulling a recreated freight train over the Cumbers and Toltec Scenic Railroad.
