Add 1/2 of the hot milk to the egg mixture. Mix well. Add the milk in parts. Pour the egg mixture into the saucepan with the milk. Mix well. Heat the mixture over medium heat. Stir constantly with a whisk. The cream should thicken. Remove the saucepan with the cream from the heat. 10 g (2 teaspoons) vanilla powder. 100 g (5 tablespoons) butter. Mix everything well. This cake recipe doesn't require long cooking. Today I'm making the quickest and most delicious tea cake. Pour the cream into a bowl. Cover the cream with cling film. Let the cream cool slightly. Line a baking pan with parchment paper or cling film. I use puff pastry sugar cookies. Place the cookies in the bottom of the baking pan. My baking pan is 18 cm in diameter. Place the prepared cream as a second layer. Layer the cookies and cream. The total number of cookies is 400 g. This cake is not too sweet. For me, it's the perfect balance of flavors. If you have a sweet tooth, add sugar to the cream to taste during baking. Place 3 cookies in a bag. Crush the cookies with a rolling pin. Sprinkle the cake with cookie crumbs. Cool the cake at room temperature. Refrigerate the cake for several hours or overnight. The cake sat in the refrigerator overnight. Look how beautiful this cake turned out!
