Ayra Starr is a Nigerian musician, recording artist and songwriter giving black girls around the globe a new voice. Ayra describes her unique style as Afro-soul, told in an intoxicating voice that solidified her sound a Gen Z icon in-the-making.

Born in the beach city of Benin Republic and raised in the cultural hub of Lagos, the mixture of African cultures inspired her global approach to music, art and life. Her music speaks for a generation of girls around the world who are finding themselves.

She announced herself to the world in 2021 with the No. 1 single, “Away” which sparked viral moments across Tik Tok.

Ayra Starr’s launch into global stardom came month’s after after releasing her debut studio album - 19 & Dangerous - in 2022 with the smash top-charting singles "Bloody Samaritan'', "Rush" and "Fashion Killer".
