Hey everyone. Long time no see. I’m in Spain now, and working on a new video series with some really talented people. I just came to Marbella in the middle of October to get this project started. October 15th was my first day. Two weeks later, October 29th was when the Spanish floods hit. Hundreds have died, and it’s one of Spain’s deadliest natural disasters. The people I’m working with here in Marbella decided to do something. This wasn’t my initiative. I was just a part of the talks, and inspired by the compassion of the people who came together to help. Delivering furniture and home supplies to the Valencians who need it is the path we decided to take. There are many organizations who are already working on other essentials. How could we offer help for the needs that might not seem as immediate and urgent, but are still important? Many people’s homes, and even their sense of home, have been severely damaged. This is what spoke to us all the most. And so, with all that being said, I’m making this video here to see if any of you are from the Malaga/Marbella area. I know most of you are from North America, but maybe some of you are here in Spain.
