6-6-26 Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000T Siren Short Attack & Short Alert Test, Paducah, KY

Yesterday morning, I went back up to Paducah, KY, as I wanted to get a better video of "Loosehorn", with @CentralALSirens tagging along. Thankfully, the test this month went much, *much* better than May's, as they were able to test practically on time (maybe 1-2 minutes late at worst), rather than the nearly half-hour delay there was last month. Loosehorn's horn is still just as loose as ever, unsurprisingly, but thankfully I was able to get a much better video of this siren this time around! Unfortunately, it seems that with the radio upgrades McCracken County's done to their system, they have now indeed massively shortened their tests from the way it was before. As such, rather than doing a full three minutes of attack followed by a short alert, McCracken County now does a short attack followed by a short alert. Both tones on this day were just over 40 seconds long, it appears, so I guess we'll see if they go longer or shorter on future tests. Glad I was able to get a couple last year when they were still running full three minute cycles of attack for their tests though. McCracken County, KY, tests at 1PM on the first Saturday of every month, weather permitting.
