Goju is the founder, CEO, and chief scientist of Merly (
http://merly.ai), a company aimed at improving software development using machine programming (MP) systems. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Stanford University, where he teaches/researches MP, CS, & AI.
Before that, he was director of Machine Programming Research at Intel Labs and an adjunct at University of Pennsylvania. He got his PhD in computer engineering at CU-Boulder. He first learned to build large scale software in 1999 when he created his first start-up, Nodeka, where he wrote a bunch of bad C/C++. Goju loves talking to curious missionaries about tech, inventing / discovering new science, and building real systems that moves science and the world forward.
He loves video games, dark industrial music & meaningful lyrics, complex & confusing TV/movies with brilliant & nuanced dialogue, & doggies.
