Making Cotton Candy Pulled Pork On The Jobsite #sponsored @5hourenergyshot

We just attempted to make Cotton Candy Pulled Pork on the jobsite and used 5-hour ENERGY shots for a sweet sugary flavor. #sponsored @5hourenergyshot #5hourambassador We don’t have an oven, but we do have a wheelbarrow and plenty of charcoal. I had a 5-foot spit fabricated to bolt to the auger on my skid steer. We use 15 pounds of pork shoulder butt, covered it with olive oil, and then a rub of paprika, salt, and pepper. Pulled Pork needs to cook low-and-slow. This took 5 hours at 1200 RPM. Next, we made a sauce with brown sugar, ketchup, and Worcestershire then added 5-hour ENERGY Cotton Candy shots for sweet energy with cotton candy flavor. Now here’s where things got crazy- I used a cotton candy machine and a pitchfork to make enough cotton candy to fill two 5-gallon buckets. Then I completely wrapped the pork with cotton candy. The heat from the coals melted the cotton candy into a sugary crust. We pulled the pork off the spit, and it was time to make sandwiches. Plenty of homemade sauce and pickled onions on top.
