The rotational speed is measured by a position sensor that detects each rotation of a target attached to the shaft. The configuration is particularly user-friendly. The four operating modes, switch point, hysteresis and start-up delay can all be set individually using rotary potentiometers. Selecting a function adjusts the multiplier for the switch point setting, allowing precise adaptation to different applications. The start-up delay prevents error messages when the motor starts up.
