STREAMING: Westbound I-80 closed near Saltair in Salt Lake County after crash ignites brush fire

A brush fire at a crash scene closed westbound I-80 in Salt Lake County as crews worked to extinguish the fire, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. UDOT shared information about the crash just after 5 p.m. Westbound I-80 was closed near Saltair after a crash ignited a brush fire. Officials said drivers can use SR-201 as an alternate route.
