Dr. Hanson is the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, and his studies focus in classics and military history.

Along with authoring hundreds of articles, editorials, and book reviews on Greek, agrarian, and military history as well as contemporary politics and culture, Dr. Hanson has written or edited over twenty-four books.
