The 5.0L Coyote V8 Screams to 7,000 RPM! 🔥

One of the coolest things about the Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 is just how willing it is to rev. In this clip, I put my foot to the floor in a bone-stock Ford F-150 and let the Coyote run all the way to its 7,000 RPM redline. The sound, the power, and the way this engine pulls on the top end is exactly why it’s become such an icon. Thanks to its dual overhead cam (DOHC) design, the Coyote loves high RPM in a way that very few half-ton truck engines can match. As of 2026, I still believe the 5.0L Coyote is the best all-around engine you can buy in a half-ton pickup. That opinion could change as GM’s upcoming V8s arrive, but for now, the Coyote still wears the crown. Would you take the 5.0L Coyote over every other half-ton engine? Let me know in the comments!
