CDTX 2108 Dead Heading Gold Runner Train SB | *New E-Bell* Broadway St. Railroad Crossing Oakland CA

July 7, 2026 After the manifest train had got through that I missed but filmed a short video of, I waited on when the next Amtrak will come through and it was this Gold Runner dead header being pulled out of the Yard into the Oakland Jack London Square Station as it was already late for departure north out of here to head south for Bakersfield and immediately departed after picking up passengers. A Capitol Corridor Train was also on the tail of this Amtrak coming into Jack London. If you remember, I filmed this crossing. For the first time over a decade ago from this side and I filmed it again a second time in 2017 almost a decade ago. The first change was after I came back in 2017 to the size of the western gate lights. The most recent change here since I was here nearly a year ago was to the cantilevers bell from a GS Type 2 to a type 3 Electronic Bell.
