Volkswagen Taigun Facelift Teased Ahead of Launch Next Week - Explained All Spec, Features, Engine

Volkswagen has released the first official teaser of the upcoming Taigun facelift. The SUV will be launched on April 9, 2026. The teaser shows a silhouette of the updated Taigun in side profile. The redesigned front fascia will feature new LED headlamps connected by an LED light bar and reworked LED taillights with a full-width LED light bar. The SUV will also feature reworked bumpers with integrated faux skid plates and illuminated VW logos in the front and rear. Inside, the new Taigun could get fresh new upholstery and trims. VW might also offer a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with features like ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof. The updated Taigun is likely to be offered with the same set of engines as before. These include 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines. While a 6-speed manual transmission will be standard, VW might offer a new 8-speed automatic option.
