Right now, farms like theirs are being held to the same regulations as large-scale commercial operations — systems that were never designed for small, pasture-based farms. As a result, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for farms like theirs to continue, grow, or even exist long-term. This isn’t just about one farm. It’s about protecting access to pasture-raised chicken, supporting local farmers, and ensuring there are real alternatives to conventional, large-scale options. If meaningful change doesn’t happen, this way of farming and the choice that comes with it, could become unavailable to families who value it.
