In the first round of the 2026 3M Open, Scottie Scheffler carded a bogey-free 6-under 65. The PGA TOUR returns to Minnesota this week for the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities, with just three events remaining before the FedExCup Playoffs. As the Regular Season draws to a close, valuable FedExCup points are up for grabs as players make their final push to secure a place inside the top 70. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlines the field in his tournament debut after finishing T4 at The Open Championship, while recent Genesis Scottish Open winner Tom Kim returns looking to bounce back from a missed cut at Royal Birkdale. Defending champion Kurt Kitayama is back in Minnesota aiming to become the first player to successfully defend the 3M Open title after claiming victory with a closing 65 last year. The FedExCup Playoff race also takes centre stage, with players including Jason Day, Brian Harman, Brandt Snedeker and Tony Finau all looking to climb inside the top 70 before the postseason begins. Rising amateur star and reigning NCAA champion Preston Stout is also in the field after a string of impressive performances this summer.
