After 2 years away, we’re finally heading back to Ireland in the van — and straight away, things get interesting at the ferry port with extra security checks, pet travel documents, chip scans, and three very excited dogs ready for the crossing. We take the ferry over to Belfast, treat ourselves to a cabin with a proper shower, and then hit the road as we begin our Irish vanlife adventure. First stop: catching up with friends, delivering birthday cake, letting the dogs run wild, and seeing the incredible progress they’ve made on their house since we last visited. From there, we start planning our route towards the Ring of Kerry, with a little help from our secret weapon — local knowledge from Kieran, who helped us find some amazing hidden gems last time we were here.
