Flood Watch issued for San Antonio area through Tuesday evening

Forecast By Chief Meteorologist Chris Suchan FLOOD WATCH ISSUED | A flood watch has been issued for San Antonio and surrounding areas from 7 p.m. on Sunday through Tuesday evening. Most will see 1" - 3"+ rainfall but isolated spots could see much higher amounts in slow moving or training storms with very high rainfall rates. TODAY: Partly Sunny, 40% Rain HIGHS: 89 - 93 WINDS: SE 8 - 16mph Early clouds with a slight rain chance then partly sunny. A scattering of showers or thunderstorms later in the day into Sunday night. MONDAY: Mostly Cloudy, 70% Rain HIGHS: 84 - 88 WINDS: S to NNE 7 - 14mph A cold front or "less hot" front arrives later in the day. This will help to develop scattered showers and thunderstorms in our area. A few spots could see locally heavy rain in storms.
